City of Weed Geographic Information System
Use the City’s interactive Geographic Information System to view available parcel, zoning, address, infrastructure, and other mapping information.
The GIS is provided as a general informational resource. Users should contact the appropriate City department before relying on mapping information for permitting, development, construction, property boundaries, or other official purposes.
Residents are encouraged to register for available emergency notification systems and stay informed during wildfires, severe weather, road closures, evacuations, utility disruptions, and other emergencies.
The Siskiyou County Office of Emergency Services coordinates countywide emergency preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation, evacuation information, and disaster-management activities.
The Siskiyou County Health and Human Services Agency provides access to public health, social services, behavioral health, substance-use treatment, income assistance, housing resources, and other support programs.
Siskiyou County Public Health provides information and programs related to community health, disease prevention, environmental health, immunizations, emergency preparedness, and other public-health matters.

Siskiyou County provides information about available housing-stability, homelessness-response, outreach, case-management, housing-navigation, shelter, and supportive-housing programs.
Qualified households may be eligible for energy-efficiency, weatherization, utility-payment, or other assistance through regional nonprofit or public programs.
Resources may be available for seniors, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, and residents needing assistance with daily living, transportation, housing, or protective services.
Siskiyou Transit and General Express, commonly known as STAGE, provides public transportation within Siskiyou County, including service along the Interstate 5 corridor and stops serving Weed.
Routes, fares, operating days, and on-call stop requirements may change. Riders should review the current schedule before traveling.
During regular business hours, call City Hall at (530) 938-5020.
After hours, call the Weed Police Department at (530) 938-5000 to reach the on-call Public Works employee.
Solid Waste and Recycling
Solid-waste, recycling, collection schedules, disposal requirements, and account questions should be directed to the City’s authorized solid-waste service provider.
Private utility companies provide electricity, natural gas, telephone, internet, and cable services. Contact the appropriate provider for service initiation, billing, outages, repairs, and account assistance.
During an emergency involving a downed electrical line or suspected gas leak, leave the area and call 911 and the appropriate utility provider.
